The final edition, no.28, was published in December 2016 and refunds to subscribers will be issued before end of January 2017.

Delivery of Magazines

Subscriber copies of all new editions are sent out directly following delivery from the printers.

For other purchases, we normally post once a week, generally on a Thursday, 2nd class post in Britain and by airmail to all other countries.

Most 2nd class post arrives within a week, however, Royal Mail say to allow 15 working days before an item is reported missing. For Europe, they say to allow 20 working days, and 25 working days for addresses outside Europe.

If you think your magazine or other order is late arriving, or if your order has suffered damage, please get in touch. If we have made an error we will do our best to sort it out immediately. However if your copy has already been correctly shipped we may ask you to please wait for the Royal Mail time limit given above. If at that time it has still not arrived we will happily send you a replacement.

Cancellation

If at any time you wish to cancel an order or subscription, use the contact details provided to get in touch.

Under The Consumer Contracts Act (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, Part 3, 28(1)(f) there is no obligation for a trader to cancel an order for a magazine after it has been posted to you, with the exception of a subscription contract.

Orders for copies of magazines (not including subscriptions) may be cancelled up until the point they are posted (normally the Thursday after your order is placed, as above).

Orders for a subscription may be cancelled for a full refund up until the point where the first magazine is posted, thereafter the cost of any magazines supplied at the usual cover price for a single issue for your postal address (as given for the current edition on the Buy page of this website) will be subtracted together with an admistration charge of £2 to cover costs of processing the cancellation and issuing a refund.

Orders for binders may be cancelled up to 14 days after receipt of your order for any reason whatsoever provided that the unused, undamaged binder is returned in its original packaging at your own expense. However, should any binder you have ordered be damaged in transit to you, please get in touch to arrange for return of the damaged goods and replacement.

Personal information is not collected on this website, nor do we use cookies to analyse web traffic.

Where personal data is supplied by you to Dorothy Lumb Publishing it will only be used in connection with the purpose for which it was supplied. We do not supply mailing lists to third parties.

Alternative Dispute Resolution

From 15th February 2016 there is a new European Online Dispute Resolution Platform which all online traders in Europe are required to provide a link to on their website. This is the page address and link: https://ec.europa.eu/odr The purpose of this is to allow consumers, traders and ADR providers to file, respond to, and handle disputes (including disputes where the trader and consumer are in different countries within the EU) online.
