Longest Thread contest
My apologies to Flo Kinnear and all YarnMaker's Scottish readers for omitting to mention that there was a Scottish winner in the Longest Thread contest. Flo has been Scottish winner since 2005, and in 2007, 2009 and 2011 she was also the overall winner of Longest Thread spun on a hand propelled spindle.I must emphasise that this information was not intentionally left out.
I would like to appeal to readers to assist in getting correct and up-to-date news in to YarnMaker by contacting the magazine if there is anything you think should be included for publication - or, indeed, if you spot errors or omissions in the magazine.
Welsh guild
Apologies are due to the members of the Crickhowell Guild for incorrectly listing them under "England". Now this error has been brought to my attention I have moved their Directory entry into the "Wales" list.
