Frequently asked questionsDelivery of magazinesSubscriber copies of all new editions are sent out by the printers. For other purchases, I aim to post within a week of order (although often do so within 2 days) and I send them by 2nd class post in Britain and air-mail to all other countries. Most 2nd class post arrives within a week, however, Royal Mail say to allow 15 working days before an item is reported missing. For Europe, they say to allow 20 working days, and 25 working days for addresses outside Europe. If you think your magazine is late arriving, please do get in touch. There may have been an error made in processing your order, but if not I will ask you to wait for the Royal Mail time limit given above, and if it does not arrive I will send a replacement copy. Renewing your subscription to YarnMakerAs YarnMaker approaches its first anniversary, then following the July/August 2011 edition many subscriptions will be due for renewal. We don't want you to miss the opportunity to renew and ensure you continue to get YarnMaker, and so a form notifying subscribers that renewal is due will be sent out with the last magazine of your subscription. If you do not respond we will follow up with further contact by post or email. You may renew your subscription by filling in a form sent with the magazine, or by phoning up to make a card payment, or send a letter and a cheque in the post, or renew using PayPal on the website. You may not have noticed this, but all subscribers have a subscription number, which is printed on the address label sent with the magazine. If you do not know your subscriber number, then please make sure that you give full address details when you renew. Electonic version for downloadThere are currently no plans to produce an electronic version of the magazine. Publication datesWe aim to send out new magazines at the start of the first month in the title, however, sometimes an edition may be delayed in order to bring you the latest news or a special article. When this happens we will give up-to-date information on the website so you know what is happening. "Are you going to publish an article about ...?"Please look at information for Contributors. YarnMaker depends on people submitting articles on subjects they would like to see in the magazine. We aim to have a good mix of topics covered in every edition - if you think there is a gap in the content, maybe you can help? We also welcome news that is relevant to handspinners. Can I have access to the YarnMaker customer list for marketing purposes? No. Data relating to purchasers of magazines is only used for the purpose for which it was supplied. We are registered with the Information Commissioner and abide by legal requirements for handling and protection of data. I'm moving house... how do I inform you of my new address? Please get in touch by email, phone, or letter with details of your old and new addresses so I can update your subscription record. See here for how to contact YarnMaker. |
